Koller Peaches For Time, Expects More Fighting Spirit in Subsequent Games
Koller Football Academy has called for more time and patience from their supporters following the team’s emphatic 3-0 victory over rivals, Achievers FA, in the Ilorin West Derby over the weekend.
The victory saw Koller Football Academy triumph decisively, showcasing their potential under the new management.
Speaking after the match, Coach Lambe Jamiu expressed his satisfaction with the team’s performance but highlighted ongoing reshuffles within the squad.
He appealed for patience from fans, assuring them that the team’s full potential would emerge in time.
“There are lots of reorganizations at the Academy,” Coach Jamiu said. “The coach is new, and some players are new… To blend, it will take a little time. We appreciate God for the victory; it was really a good test.”
Coach Jamiu was particularly pleased with the team’s ability to score three goals against a well-organized side like Achievers FA. “Scoring three goals against an organized team like Achievers FA is something worth celebrating,” he noted. “We hope the boys continue with the fighting spirit and teamwork they displayed in this Week 2 game.”
