Busari FA Dedicates Victory Over LA Planet to Fans

Busari Football Academy has dedicated their recent victory over LA Planet Sports Academia to their dedicated fans.

The win, secured in Matchday 2 of the 2024 Kwara Kiddies League, was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the team and supporters alike.

The pivotal moment of the match came in the closing minutes when Adam Yasheer scored a decisive goal five minutes before the final whistle, sealing a 1-0 victory for Busari FA on Saturday, June 29, 2024.

Coach Abdulmumeen Busari expressed his excitement and gratitude after the surprise victory against one of the tournament favorites, LA Planet Sports Academia.

He acknowledged the challenging start to their campaign but highlighted the team’s resilience and the unwavering support of their fans.

“Yesterday, the 29th of June, 2024, our team faced a challenging journey in the 2024 season of the Kwara Kiddies League. Despite starting poorly by conceding three goals against African Kiddies in our first game, we didn’t let it deter us. Instead, it fueled our determination to come back stronger,” said the coach.

“Our second match was against one of the tournament’s favorites, the formidable LA Planet Sports Academia. From the very beginning, we knew we had to bring our best game. The atmosphere was electric, with our supporters, led by Barrister I.K. Iyanda, cheering us on and promising a prize for each goal we scored. We were recognized as the team with the largest supporters, adding to the already high pressure.”

The coach praised the exceptional teamwork, resilience, and skill displayed by the players. He highlighted the solid defense led by goalkeeper Abdulqodir Na’allah, the controlled midfield, and the opportunistic forwards.

“It was a hard-fought battle and, alhamdulillah, our efforts paid off. In the end, we emerged victorious by scoring a goal, which was enough to secure the three points needed to lift us from the bottom of the table. This goal, delivered by Adam Yasheer, marked the first goal for our team in the league and our first win,” he added.

Coach Busari emphasized that the victory was not just a testament to their abilities but also to their spirit and determination. He credited the win to perseverance, teamwork, and divine assistance.

“We are extremely proud of this achievement and look forward to carrying this momentum forward in the tournament. A big thank you to our supporters for believing in us. This win is for you!”
